 Dr. Roberta Jo Hawk graduated Summa cum Laude from Tulane University. She attended Tulane Medical School where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, graduating in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Hawk did her Internship in Pediatrics at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals, and then her Dermatology Residency, also at Tulane. She was a clinical and surgical Dermatologist at Stanocola Medical Clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she became Head of the Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Hawk moved to Montana to practice clinical and surgical Dermatology at Yellowstone Dermatology and Skin Cancer Clinic in Billings. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Member of the Montana Academy of Dermatology, Member of the American Cosmetic Dermatologic Society, and a Member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Hawk is licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and Montana.
Dr. Juliana Hicks is the founding member of Yellowstone Dermatology (1983). She graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1974 and received her dermatology residency training at Tulane Medical School, New Orleans, in 1978.
She continued her family's military tradition by serving as a captain in the US Army Medical Corp. at Ripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Hicks served as president of the Montana Academy of Dermatology for two years where she has also served as state chairperson. She has given 20 years of service to the Crow Agency Indian Health Hospital with monthly dermatology clinics.
Dr. Juliana Hick's husband, Dr. Thomas Thigpen. They have two children: Paul (27), a pilot for Continental Express Jet, and Helen (26), a first year law student at University of Montana in Missoula.
Dr. Cheryl Cook received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Western Carolina University, her Master's of Science degree in nursing from the University of Colorado and completed her medical degree and internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a member of The American College of Physicians and participates on several St. Vincent Healthcare committees. Dr. Cook's main focus is on Dermatology. She has on-going and extensive study of Dermatology and now practices with Yellowstone Dermatology.
